If you could paddle any where in the world, where would
it be next:
There is a reason why I live on the Ottawa
..it
is the best place to paddle in the world. If I had to
choose another river it would be the Futaleufu River
in Chile.

Hockey, Guitar, skiing, golf, or anything active and
productive.
A day in the life: Whats a day of paddling look
like?
Well
.everyday starts off with a cup of coffee
or a can of Red Bull. After this I pull on my Bomber
Gear drydeck, put on my Oakleys, hop in my Wave Sport
kayak and slide into the Ottawa River in the front yard.
I go through a quick warm up and paddle around the corner
to McKoys, which contains numerous play features.
It is probably very sunny and the mist is getting burned
off by the heat of the day. If it is early enough the
river is not yet busy and the playspots are perfect.
I play my brains out until other kayakers and rafts
start to show up and I say hello to some river friends
before making my way back around the corner to home.
Of course I repeat the same thing again in the afternoon
and perhaps head to one of the other rapids for some
surf. If others are interested it is always a good time
running down the entire river but one rapid can always
supply enough fun for a few hours each day.
