Worst beating (in a kayak) ever had:
They are almost too numerous to mention, but my first run in the hole in
Graz springs to mind, as being particularly horrid. It was 5am and I
dropped in and just disappeared for what felt like an eternity, during
which time the hole was attempting to remove my helmet from my head, my
paddles from my hands and generally me from my boat. When I eventually
rolled up, I felt like I had gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.


If you could paddle any where in the world, where would it be next:
The White Nile in Uganda.




Other hobbies & interests, other than paddling:
I do yoga all the time and I learnt to dive recently so I am excited about
doing more of that.

A day in the life: What©às a day of paddling look like?
Ideally, wake up in the sunshine on the bank of a river somewhere and head
out to boat all day, with a great group of people. Then hang out drinking
ÿ beers and eating food and get up and do it all again the next day
